Fuel for new ideas
It is much easier to make a crazy idea acceptable than it is to pep up a boring idea!
- When looking for ideas, do you find there is often a lack of good suggestions?
- Don’t your brainstorming sessions have the desired success?
At best, brainstorming is a starting point for gathering existing ideas. The search for ideas then really gets going.
«You can recognise a really good idea by the fact that its realisation seemed to be impossible from the outset.»
Albert Einstein
Just three to four techniques are sufficient for the easier generation of brilliant ideas. Edward de Bono, the father of lateral thinking, has fine-tuned his techniques. Cast aside previous ways of thinking and create space for new ideas. Stimuli and provocation excite the imagination. A crazy idea provides fuel for new ideas. Behind every (crazy) suggestion there’s at least one concept. New ideas are sought for this concept.
Innovative ideas are no coincidence.
Think laterally and be open to the new. This is the principle for greater creativity.
